A RELIGIOUS HERITAGE

tw-12

The churches of Buddusò represent one of the cultural and religious attractions of the area and, together with other places of prayer, such as Santa Chiara and San Francesco, bear witness to the history, traditions and spirituality of the local community. Located between the historic center and rural areas, these churches form a heritage of great value.

The main churches are the Parish of Santa Anastasia, the Church of Santa Reparata, the Church of San Quirico and the Church of Sant'Ambrogio.

Among the churches of Buddusò, the oldest is certainly the church of San Quirico, a place rich in history and meaning.

Its construction dates to around 1600; from an architectural point of view it has no reliefs except the portal, which opens in the center of the front façade with the lintel and the pillars in gray granite, of nineteenth-century workmanship, certainly added during the 1852 restoration.
